Skagen Restaurant opened in 1978, and was Stavangers first real restaurant. You'll find that our food today is a bit more refined than it was back then, but our menu still reflects our history, and the history of Stavanger.
Our menu is composed by master chef Cato Ødemark. He is known to many from Restaurant Nero and Spiseriet in Stavanger Concert Hall. Cato likes to showcase new sides of classic Norwegian ingredients. His goal for Skagen Restaurant is to be among the best in Stavanger in dining experience, and that journey starts with a combination of smiling, capable employees and great Norwegian ingredients.
