Our ingredients are either local or fair trade. Our dishes are prepared by happy chefs. Feel free to stop by and check out our rich wine list and current dishes. Be brave when choosing what to eat. You will be able to taste the good ingredients we use in our food. You will taste that we have used craftsmanship and love in the preparation, and you will be able to find something in the menu that makes you excited. And when you leave here, we hope you will think that such a good meal is only available at Déjà Vu.
When we opened Déjà Vu Delikatesser in September 2002, the goal was to make honest and good food that is not too expensive. We still work for the same goal to this day. We are lucky to be in an area with so many good ingredients and good producers. Most of our suppliers are a short walk from our kitchen: We can pick up seafood directly from the fishing boats docked at Jorenholmen. We get meat products from Albert Idsøe just across the street. If we were to run out of bread, we can visit the Danish baker Torben at Kanelsnurren a stone's throw away. Our coffee is roasted - and has always been roasted by - Stavanger Kaffebrenneri.
